As the Mayor of Fox Creek, I encourage you to browse through the information, check out our photo gallery and experience why our motto is "A Playground of Opportunity." Our residents have chosen to settle in Fox Creek primarily for the quality of life.

In the October 2007 Municipal election, the residents of Fox Creek elected a strong, dynamic Council that is truly committed to sustain and enhance our present lifestyle through planned and controlled community development. Recent years have seen a greater diversity of local shops, businesses and enterprises which have enhanced the economic base and contributed to the growing spirit of the town. Fox Creek is open for business. Our constant challenge is to continue to find new ways to maximize the potential of this growing town.

The area around Fox Creek abounds with outdoor adventures. It is well known as a great place to enjoy a vast array of outdoor activities; quad-ding, hunting, fishing year round, incredible groomed sledding trails, and cross country skiing. We are very fortunate to have two lakes just minutes from town. Camping doesn't get much better than this with free fire wood, boat docks, great fishing, water skiing and sandy beaches.

Add to that, a full complement of recreation facilities; the scenic 9-Hole Silver Birch Golf Course with grass greens, tennis courts, skateboard park, 4 sheet Curling Club, baseball diamonds, outdoor swimming pool, and the Derald Palmer Arena. Fox Creek has a well-equipped fitness centre, a paved walking trail, and The Don Nicholson natural walking trail; enjoyment for all ages.
